According to the formal announcement, "An unusual encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden sect.
The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages.
